Alice Miller Eaton is a native of Greensboro and graduate of Grimsley High School. After attending UNC Chapel Hill and earning a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, she spent years away in Michigan, Alaska, Colorado and Washington State. Alice and her family moved back to Greensboro this May. They are excited to be settling into their new home this month!
David Furr is a Tony Award nominated actor with a wealth of experience on Broadway, television, film and in voice work. After 22 years in New York City, David and his family return to Greensboro. He will continue to work around the country and the world, while pursuing his interest in adding higher education to his portfolio.
Jessica McCuiston is boomeranging back from Charlotte, NC for a new role at Lincoln Financial. Jessica has a BS in Nutrition and Masters in Public Health from UNCG. After four years in Charlotte, Jessica and her family are happy to be settling into their new lives in Greensboro.
Tristan Bailey originally moved to Greensboro to attend NC A&T State University. After graduation, Tristin moved away to Apex and then Fayetteville. During the pandemic, she decided it was time to move back. Tristin landed the perfect job with Guilford County and bought her first home using the City of Greensboro's First-Time Homebuyers program.
Sara Beth (Hamlin) Verm and her family are settling into their new home in Greensboro this month. Sara Beth is a native of Greensboro and always dreamed of returning home. In 2021, her husband scored permission to work from home permanently allowing them to immediately make plans, buy a home and find the perfect schools. Sara Beth says, “We are so excited to begin this new chapter of our lives!”
Hannah Smith and her husband relocated back to Greensboro from Cary, NC this May. They are excited to be settling into their new home and getting reacquainted with all the new offerings in the city.
Phoebe and Charles Murray moved back from the Triangle with her husband and daughter in fall 2020. Phoebe is a remote worker in workforce retention and recruitment. They are enjoying exploring their new neighborhood, Fisher Park.
JT Jobe, a Greensboro native, moved back to Greensboro from Denver with his wife Keeley in 2020. JT and Keeley both work remotely for tech companies. They are loving their new home in Fisher Park and are expecting their first child in September.
Swati Argade moved back to Greensboro to be closer to her family after living in Brooklyn for 23 years. She’s a sustainable fashion designer and educator and continues to run her clothing brand Bhoomki along with its Brooklyn-based brick-and mortar boutique in Brooklyn.
Caroline Brantley is excited to be back in Greensboro, living closer to her family and friends and starting a new job. She is especially thrilled to be back in the same city with her two childhood best friends, Molly and Carrie. Bonus - all three of them are Boomerangs!
