Meredith and Jon Dewald are back home in Greensboro! Most recently, they were living in Boston and feeling too far away from their families, so they made the decision to relocate to be closer to loved ones. When not busy with their respective jobs (Interior Designer - Meredith and Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician - Jon), they enjoy seeing all the musical artists coming through Tanger Center and working on projects in their newly acquired house.
Brody McCuiston
Brody McCuiston moved back to Greensboro just a couple of months ago with wife, Jessica, along with their daughter and two pups. Brody is happy to be back in this place that truly feels like home for he and Jessica, a place where extended family is close by, the craft beer flows freely, and the worst ‘traffic’ experienced is having to wait at a stoplight for two changes when getting off Bryan Boulevard.
Brian Michael Smith
Part of Brian Michael Smith’s heart has always remained in Greensboro. When an opportunity to launch his business arose downtown, he jumped at the chance. A man of many facets (educator, curator, entrepreneur and writer), he is dividing his time between developing his business here and his work in Washington, DC. He is humbled and excited to play his part in the Boro’s new creative economy.
Brantley Craft
After leaving behind a banking job in Charlotte, Brantley Craft has returned to Greensboro living as a UNCG MPA graduate student. He is enjoying being back in this place he so admires for its diversity in people, in thought and in activities and is looking forward to seeing how he can grow right here in Greensboro.
Brandi Nicole Johnson
Brandi Nicole Johnson made her return from the Triangle to Greensboro as DoorDash’s Director of Global Learning and Development. She’s glad to be home in a place where it is so easy to connect with people, navigate the city and travel quickly and efficiently. Brandi thinks of Greensboro as an optimal place for growth because Greensboro provides affordable opportunities to grow your company, education and career.
Anne and Charlie Pace
Anne and Charlie Pace are freshly back in Greensboro from Charlotte. With their children, Peter and Emma, in mind, they knew they’d need to find a place better suited for their growing family - which landed them here again.
Afika Nxumalo
Afika Nxumalo has returned to the place where he was born and raised. After years of performing in Greensboro-based hip-hop septet, The Urban Sophisticates, he spent over a decade away in London and Brooklyn launching his solo music career. He’s since made his return home and looks forward to plugging his big city experience into his hometown’s blossoming creative class. Earlier this year, his song, “Chosen,” was featured in a movie trailer for the Warner Bros. Studio film, Judas and the Black Messiah.
Ashleigh Greene
Barry Johnson and Ashleigh Greene could have met as high schoolers in Greensboro, but they went to different schools, had different friends and followed different paths. After graduating from Wake Forest and living in Virginia Beach, Ashleigh briefly moved back. And that is when they met… and made an instant connection.
Phillip Ray
Phillip Ray boomeranged back from West Palm Beach Florida this summer with his wife, Leslie and two children. They are both working remotely and enjoying exploring all the development downtown.
