After leaving behind a banking job in Charlotte, Brantley returned to Greensboro to pursue his Master of Public Affairs at UNCG. It wasn’t a random choice — it was rooted in admiration. For the city’s diversity of people and ideas. For its energy, culture, and potential. And for the role he knew he could play in helping shape it.
While completing his degree, Brantley interned with the Greensboro Chamber’s economic development team, gaining firsthand experience in how cities grow and evolve. That experience laid the foundation for his current role with the City of High Point’s Economic Development Corporation, where he’s helping bring new opportunities to the region he calls home.
Now married, Brantley is setting down roots with intention — building a life that’s grounded in service, community, and connection. For him, Greensboro is the place where he can keep growing, both personally and professionally.
