Welcome Home, Shelbi Flynn — Guilford County’s New Integrated Data and Services Program Manager

Boomerang Greensboro is proud to celebrate the homecoming of Shelbi Flynn, who has returned from New Orleans to join Guilford County as the Integrated Data and Services Program Manager.

A Greensboro native, Shelbi brings more than a decade of experience helping city governments work smarter and serve residents better. Most recently, she served as Director of Innovation for the City of New Orleans, where she led a team dedicated to improving services, strengthening data-driven decision-making, and advancing collaboration across departments.

Through Boomerang Greensboro’s network, Shelbi connected with Guilford County and discovered an opportunity that aligned perfectly with her passion for public service and innovation. Her return is a powerful example of how professionals can bring their skills, experience, and renewed perspective back home—contributing to the growth and vitality of our community.
