Alice left Greensboro with a backpack full of curiosity and a heart for service. College at UNC Chapel Hill. A Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan. And then — life out west. Michigan. Alaska. Colorado. Washington State. Each place offered something new.
But in May 2022, with her husband and children by her side, Alice came home.
Now back in Greensboro — the city that raised her, the one where she walked the halls of Grimsley High — Alice works as a HealthySteps Specialist with the Children’s Home Society of North Carolina. She supports young families, helps kids thrive, and brings compassion and calm to people navigating some of life’s hardest early steps.
